Perfumes and colognes containing
Furocoumarins, compounds from natural products such as plants and fruits can sensitize the
skin to sunlight. Common foods are fruits that contain photosensitizing agents are:
celery, carrots, lime, coriander, parsley, fennel, dill, buttercup, mustard, fig and
others.
